The Czech company MORÁVIA-CHEM, s.r.o. was established in the year 1996. The first aim was to manufacture distilled water and car windscreen washer fluids, both for winter and summer seasons under the CINOL® trade mark. The production of window cleaners under SKLENOL® and GLASSOL® trademarks was started as an additional activity in 1997.
Within the frame of planned development of the company and with respect to a new system of sale of products, it was necessary to enhance product range and ensure complexity of our offer. This applies especially to the range of cleaning agents for custom car maintenance, e.g. Wheel Cleaner, Insect Remover, Car Shampoo, Dashboard Preserver etc. In order to enhance our activity on the Slovak market, the subsidiary company Slovakiachem Slovensko s.r.o. was established in 1999 in Púchov.
In the following years the production of antifreezes, brake fluids and petrol and Diesel additives was introduced. In the recent two years our product range has been extended to engine oils, both synthetic and mineral ones, transmission oils, hydraulic oils and plastic greases. Today our company manufactures about 70 products which find their use not only in car maintenance, but also in other applications, e.g. as household cleaners. New preparations for automatic car washes were added to the range of professional products.
With respect to our customers` wishes, our R&D department prepares new products of equal or even higher quality compared to other similar product available on the market. These products are also price competitive which is ensured by complex production background – our own R&D, production plant, packages production, forwarding, network of distributors etc. Research and development of our products is based on long term experience of our technical and sale staff and also on cooperation with universities. This has beneficial effect on continuous improvement of quality of our products in response to increasing demands of our customers and also with respect to new technologies used in the automotive industry. Our own production of mixtures, purchase of base materials in large quantities from domestic and foreign companies (the MORÁVIA-CHEM, s.r.o. company is a major purchaser of ethanol, monoethylene glycol and oils in the Czech Rep.), our own plastic packages production covering our consumption of bottles and jarry cans, modern production lines meeting strict requirements for filling and packing of various products from small volumes to large ones, e.g. jerry cans, drums, barrels and IBCs and also our own warehouses, these are factors which contribute to substantial minimization of production costs.
Our fleet of camions and a road tanker meeting the ADR requirements enables to import and export base materials and products and supply wholesalers and branch sales spots directly from our headquarters. Also minimizing vehicle service without maximum payload leads to reduction of transport costs. A network of distributors optimally spread across the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic with distribution centres in maximum distance about 80 km, computer linked warehouses of sale representatives and our own delivery service reduce periods of delivery and ensure supplies of goods directly to our customers without any subdealers.
Marketing tools : sale boxes, stands, bonus systems, competitions, exhibitions, advertising brochures and leaflets, catalogues and special packets for extra convenient prices, regular training and professional consulting, this all contributes to the fact that a great number of our customers can be found among state institutions, e.g. Police, Czech Railways etc. Most of our customers are regional petrol stations and chemists` shops. Our long term business partners are Barum Continental spol. s r.o., Barum Centrum Praha spol. s r.o., PAP OIL a.s., OBI (KUTIL k.s., Global Stres a.s.), Makro Cash & Carry ČR s.r.o., OMV s.r.o., Slovnaft CS, a.s., Slovnaft Slovakia, a.s., Oktan a.s., Matador a.s. and others.
Our firm in cooperation with the Energoinvestment s.r.o. company provides collection and return purchase of waste oils. Based on our contract with the authorized packaging company EKO-KOM, a.s., we are also responsible for buyout of waste packages.
MORÁVIA-CHEM, s.r.o. chooses responsibility in its activities in the field of chemistry and in introducing of new production processes using state-of-the-art techniques. In this way we search for new possibilities to permanently reduce energy and base materials consumption, minimize waste production and ensure protection of health and the environment.
